    • Sant Joan is one of the most popular festivals in Mallorca and marks the beginning of the summer fiestas. The night from June 23rd to 24th, summer solstice is being celebrated on all of Mallorca's beaches. During the shortest night of the year, special events, bonfires and concerts take place on the most popular ones, such as the city beach in Palma or the Playa de Palma.

      As per the tradition, people gather for dinner on the beach, surrounded by a circle of candles to keep away the evil spirits. Shortly before midnight, wishes for the next year have to be written down and everything evil that happend the year before is to be burned. In order for the wishes to become true, you have to jump three times over the bonfire and take a bath in the sea at midnight. The fireworks in the Parc de la Mar in front of Palma's cathedral mark the end of the festivities.

    • La fiesta de San Juan es de lo mejor de Menorca. Si vas os aconsejo q lleveis ropa q no volvais a usar, pq es una fiesta de la calle, muchas horas y acabas lleno de vino, alcohol y sobre todo POMADA, la bebida típica de Menorca (Gin tonic con limonada)
